The problem

Olivier’s business imports automotive parts from Kenya and South Africa, mostly invoiced in USD, settled in RWF through a mix of bank and mobile money. Reconciliation was the week’s boss fight — two full days of matching statements against receipts.

Why GwizaSuite

Multi-currency was the deciding factor. He needed a tool that captured the FX rate at transaction time and posted both legs cleanly — foreign-currency on the supplier, RWF on the control accounts.

Implementation

The first month was rough. Olivier’s team had to train themselves to capture the MoMo reference on every receipt — a habit they didn’t have. By month two it was automatic.

90 days in

Bank reconciliation is a Thursday-afternoon task now. Olivier’s Saturdays are his again.

Giving me my Saturdays back is the kind of feature you can’t quantify. But I know exactly what it cost me to not have them.Olivier Hakizimana, Finance Lead, Hakizimana Trading

If your software makes you work on Saturday, it’s costing you more than it charges.
